Casablance Fan Company was a privately owned business selling ceiling fans in just three states in the U.S. It achieved national and international distribution by 1988 ( rated #1 in the U. S. in its market niche) becoming an American Stock Exchange listed company.
In the early 1990's Diana Corp, a NYSE company, acquired two companies in the telecommunications industry - one in distribution and the other in the maintenance and installation of telecommunications systems for major U. S. companies. In addition, Diana diversified by adding a company that manufactured and distributed central office switching equipment.
